ADDING INTERACTIVE BUTTONS

First create a layout table.  INSERT | INTERACTIVE BUTTONS.

Scroll to select the style of the button.  Type in the text to be displayed on the button. BROWSE to select the page the button will link to.

Experiment with changing the font attributes.

(Compare with HOVER buttons in earlier versions.)

With the commands on the Font tab, you can change the color of the font when the pointer is over the button and when the button is pressed.

THE DISADVANTAGES OF INTERACTIVE BUTTONS: Each interactive button is associated with several different images.  The resulting code could decrease (slightly) the download speed of your webpage.    The area used to display the buttons in the left column could be used for content (if you include navigation aids at the bottom of the webpage).  These buttons do not work in shared borders.
